UPDATE #1 - June 12, 2025
Village Road (Astorville southerly past the Cemetery) is now paved, line painting will follow.
Groulx Road surface treatment is scheduled to start after June 17th and to be completed before June 27th.
Keep checking back on our website for updates!
Again, remain alert and vigilant during Construction Season and remember it’s always wise to slow down to protect the workers.
ORIGINAL POST:It's Construction Season!
Village Road (from South Shore Road - south past the Cemetery) is scheduled for pulverizing starting approximately May 27th. This will be followed by similar work on Groulx Road, starting from the Groulx Bridge and continuing south to the municipal boundary.
Paving on Village Road is expected to be completed by June 13th.
The work on Groulx Road will include culvert replacements, ditching, and road excavation. Additional gravel will be added, graded, and compacted. Final surface treatment is planned for the week of June 23rd.
