South Shore Road is scheduled for a full reconstruction from Village Road to Marina Road.  Work includes road culverts work, some ditching and road excavation. The road will be pulverized the last week of May.  Additional gravel will be placed, graded and compacted early June.  The final work will consist of paving which is scheduled before the end of June.

The remaining 3.8km easterly section of South Shore Road starting at Marina Road will also be pulverized this year and is scheduled to be surface treated next summer.

Village Road (Approximately from Edmond Road towards South Shore Road) is to be milled by mid-June, and both travelling lanes are scheduled to be repaved before the end of June.
