About East Ferris Parks and Recreation: With a population of over 4,500 residents, our Department of Parks and Recreation has become the envy of municipalities in our surrounding area.
With the 2011 grand re-opening of the 37,000 sq./ft. arena, The East Ferris Community Centre, is able to host a number of events from hockey tournaments, figure skating competitions and a whole lot of other activities on or off the ice. Also, the newly renovated banquet hall can entertain a variety of functions.
The Corbeil Park Hall plays host to a number of organizations and committees such as Knights of Columbus, Busy Bees, Golden Age Club and many more. The hall also entertains weddings, meetings and a variety a different parties. Trails have become a major attraction for the outdoor enthusiasts. The Lavasse Walking Trail is located behind the Municipal Office at 390 Hwy #94. There is also The Wassi Cross Country Ski Trails for the skiing buffs.
