To register for the Tradeshow via email, please download the Registration Form. You will be prompted to submit the form by email upon completion. You can mail in a cheque for payment with the registration form as well.
1/2 Loads - Road limits on Municipal Roads now in effect
The 1/2 load restriction is in effect from March 1st to May 15th, 2014. The restriction applies to all municipal roads but excludes Highways 17 and 94 as they are under provinical jurisdiction.
INFORMATION REGARDING OPEN AIR BURNING
Begining April 1st, 2014 Fire Permits will be required for all fires exceeding 1m x 1m, until October 31st.
The Municipality of East Ferris will be accepting nominations for the 2014 Municipal Election begining Thursday, January 2, 2014. A package is available at the Municipal Office for more information and for the required forms.
The Municipal Election is being held for
one (1) Mayor
four (4) Councillors
Election Day will be Monday, October 27, 2014.

Council is proud to showcase the new East Ferris Community Profile. This project was conducted through funding from the Ministry of Northern Development and Mines under the Northern Communities Investment Readiness Program. Council has made business development a priority. This Profile will allow existing businesses to capture the economic culture of the community as well as showcase it to the world.

OPP produces pamphlets so you know who to call and when to call
The Ontario Provincial Police for the North Bay, Mattawa and Powassan Detachments have produced this Infomation Brochure to educate residents when and who to call for help. There is also information on criminal record checks, victim services, and fraud. Please read so that you stay informed.
