Council passes NEW speed limit by-law on Lake Nosbonsing Road
At the regular Council meeting of May 8, 2012 Council passed By-law No. 2012-18 extending the 50 km/hr speed limit on Lake Nosbonsing Road from the intersection of Astorville Road westward.

Spring Landfill Hours
The landfill has changed to the summer hours as of April 1st. It is now open Tuesdays 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm and Saturdays 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Please remember to sort your waste. Don't forget the Landfill site now takes E-waste. So round up those old computers, VCRs, cameras and other electronics for your spring clean up day.
Fire Permits
*All Fire Permits are cancelled until futher notice.*
Fire permits are required from April 1st to October 31 of each year. Permits can be obtained at the Municipal Office and are valid for a period of 15 days. After hours permits are available at both Lucky 13 store locations. Please remember there is no burning before 6:00 pm and after 8:00 am. For information on Fire Bans there are fire condition boards at both fire stations and the MNR will announce bans on the radio stations. Please adhere to rules. Fire safety is everyone's concern.
